Airsoft pistols generally have ten to thirty pellet capacity, however you can purchase a hi-cap magazine with up to fifty pellet capacity. AEG has three different capacities available. They range anywhere from 80 projectiles all the way to 500. There is also a paint filled pellet available, called a markerball. These Airsoft markerballs are very similar to those used by Paintball.
